The features that set us apart

Plugs into any system

Fits any fire ventilation system – dampers & fans included

PC configurator

Full no-code solution, no block or ladder logic

Large resources. Quick expansion. Simple setup.

Each module has 12 digital inputs with continuity control and 6 relay outputs. Expansion cards allow you to increase the number of inputs and outputs, support analog inputs and outputs, or expand communication interfaces. Thanks to the communication bus, you can connect up to 6 FirePLC controllers without additional wiring, which will allow you to get 60 inputs and as many as 36 outputs.

Have questions? Here are the answers.

1What types of actuators can FirePLC controllers operate?
FirePLC can operate any actuator available on the market directly via built-in relays. It supports actuators with or without a spring, linear and chain actuators with polarity reversal, as well as analog actuators controlled via a 0–10 V signal.
2What fan starting systems does FirePLC support?
It works with frequency inverters, soft starters, and direct-on-line motors. It also supports star–delta starters, reversible motors, and motors operating in a Dahlander configuration.
3Can FirePLC controllers operate fire dampers?
Yes. RM-1000 and BM-1000 modules operate fire damper actuators with position monitoring and fault signaling.
4Can FirePLC controllers be integrated with BMS?
Yes. Integration is via an RS-485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol. BM-1000 and EX-1000 modules can send input, output, and alarm states to BMS or SCADA systems.
5Is the FirePLC configuration software free?
Yes. The PC application for FirePLC configuration and diagnostics is free, supports offline operation, report generation, and automatic error list display.
6What components does FirePLC provide?
We supply FirePLC family controllers, expansion modules, HMI panels, fan and actuator monitoring modules, as well as complete control cabinets equipped with inverters, power supplies, and starter systems. The control cabinets are delivered fully programmed and ready to operate. The customer can handle the remaining elements, such as fans, fire dampers, motorized dampers, ventilation ducts, doors, and the installation of the entire system. This way, we take the burden of selecting and integrating control components off the customer, while giving them full flexibility in delivering the rest of the installation.
7How does designing a smoke ventilation system with FirePLC work, and how can Innovation Vent assist you?
With FirePLC devices, designers can build systems using ready-made, fully compatible modules, which greatly simplifies the design process. Standardized interfaces and unified logic mean that configuration replaces creating complex systems from scratch. If needed, we can assist designers in preparing electrical diagrams, selecting modules for specific actuators, and verifying compliance with EN 12101-6, EN 12101-10, and EN 12101-13 standards.
